The new Bill & Ted movie has been delayed by two weeks
The long-awaited third instalment of the Bill & Ted franchise has been pushed back by two weeks.
Bill & Ted Face The Music was originally scheduled for cinematic release on August 12, but has been delayed until August 28. Many of this year's movies have been rescheduled due to COVID-19 including F9, A Quiet Place Part II, The Eternals, Godzilla Vs Kong Wonder Woman 1984.
But the pandemic isn't the only reason for Bill & Ted's date change. The time-travelling duo were set to return to screens on the same date as Christopher Nolan's upcoming spy epic Tenet, which is tipped to be the biggest movie of the summer. As such, going up against Tenet in such trying times just doesn't make sense, hence the move.
