Original story: It’s finally happening! Following all sorts of intricate teasing, we’re finally about to find out what Avenged Sevenfold have been up to.
Thanks to all sorts of Easter egg clues online, the band’s incredibly dedicated following has discovered an unlisted video on YouTube entitled Avenged Sevenfold Presents, featuring some intriguing imagery and a countdown that finishes at 3pm GMT / 11am ET / 8am PT tomorrow, March 14.
As per the many clues that A7X have shared over the past couple of months, there’s some notable signs in the video still they’ve released: for example, the word Nobody is written on the wall, and many believe this is the title for their first new single. There’s also the phrase Life Is But A Dream on the opposite wall – the theory is that that’s their album name. Their iconic Deathbat logo seems to have had a cool new update, too…

Speaking to Kerrang! in December 2020 about their new album, frontman M. Shadows teased: “The record sounds nothing like The Stage – it’s a completely new direction, and it sounds nothing like anything we’ve done. That’s all I’ll say about it: it’s over the top, and it’s very eclectic and wild!”
