One more song: Do we really need encores anymore?
Encores have long been an established tradition in live music, but are they really necessary? Scene Queen, Boston Manor and The Wonder Years reveal how their shows end by mixing things up…
Alexisonfire and Boston Manor are hitting the road together later this year for a 12-date tour of the UK and Europe.
As Alexisonfire gear up to headline Slam Dunk and Boston Manor brace themselves for a performance at Download in June, the two bands have also announced that they'll be hitting the road together for an autumn tour in the UK and Europe.
"Something special happens when Alexisonfire gets together," enthuses vocalist George Pettit. "When we’re all onstage playing in the pocket, we elevate and the audience comes with us. Can't wait to play these shows!"
The tour begins in Cardiff on October 14, with the UK run including stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Brighton and London. Then AOF and Boston Manor will head over to mainland Europe to play in Antwerp, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne, before finishing up in Utrecht on November 1. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 1, at 10am.
