Slam Dunk Festival announces new 2025 European events
As well as next May’s usual Leeds and Hatfield festivals, Slam Dunk will be expanding throughout Europe!
At long last, it looks like A Day To Remember are gearing up to confirm details of their upcoming album, You're Welcome.
Jeremy McKinnon has shared a short snippet of a new A Day To Remember song, as well announcing that there's "info coming" regarding the band's much-delayed album You're Welcome.
It's been a long, loooong time since the Ocala gang started teasing the follow-up to 2016's Bad Vibrations, with guitarist Kevin Skaff stating in November 2019 that the reason for these push backs was that the artwork wasn't done, and that a couple of tracks were still getting mixed.
Then, in April of this year, Neil Westfall promised that things were on the way, explaining how he felt of You're Welcome's as-yet-unknown release date: "It’s like you’re keeping a secret! You have this little secret, this little thing that you can listen to and nobody else has it yet (laughs). It’s pretty cool. But I’m excited for people to hear it – I really want that to happen, and it will soon."

Now it finally sounds as though fans will know of an official release date later today, as vocalist Jeremy has taken to Instagram to post a teaser for the song Brick Wall (which already sounds killer) as well as stating that information regarding You're Welcome will be unveiled at 12pm EST – which is 5pm UK time.
Speaking to Kerrang! last year about the sound of album number seven, Jeremy enthused: “The whole point of this, for me, was like, ‘Let’s use the A Day To Remember formula – the same thing that everyone has always known and loved about us – but let’s take on modern influences.’ Let’s take on modern structure with the small chorus into the big drop part, and let’s do that as a band, instead of electronic stuff. Let’s use some of those elements to make cool sounding stuff as we go, but keep it that A Day To Remember sound here, and let’s mess around with new song structure, and a modern production take, but keep that heaviness that is us. It’s just crazy.”
